The name Sophie means Wisdom and is of French origin. My dd (dear daughter) is called Sophie and her middle name is Nicole. Sofia if you want to be a little different or if you have European links (Italian, Spanish etc) x. I think Sophie goes lovely with Jake, please don't try to make it different, I do know someone who hyphenated it with mae but it just made it ugly to me - and at only months old she is only referred to as Sophie. We like Daniel Joseph for a boy and Sophie for a girl but can't think of middle name to go with it (I liked Rose but DH didn't like it). Names with a similar vibe as Sophie could be: Some of those are stretching it on being similar, but it's hard to find similar names to Sophie! I have a Sophie and worried about it being so popular.
